Hello, my name is Corilee. I want to tell you a little bit about myself.

Brief Resume: Registered Nurse for past 14 years working as Case Manager in Orthopedics, Stem Cell Collections/Apheresis specialist for bone marrow transplants/oncology, home health and diabetic education, cardiology and chronic pain management. Cosmetology Manager/Beauty Salon Owner for 6 years. Singer/songwriter and recorded an album of all original christian music, "The Greatest Gift of All".  I left my case manager position in 2005 to stay home, focus on ministry, focus on family and focus on breeding my sphynx cats. I have to truly say they are one of my greatest joys in life!!!! My medical background has been very helpful to me in my cattery management and I keep learning something new every day!!! My family: I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary on October 29, 2008 with my teen sweet heart, Jason. He bought his Dad's insurance agency over 20 years ago. I have three daughters, Amanda-Miss Iowa International 2005, she enjoys modeling for various companies, singing, dance, art and especially her animals. She received a scholarship to attend Oxford in Oxford England for a semester in 2008 for her art history major. She was married to Dr. Jordon Breuer on October11, 2008., Lana-spent 2 1/2 years at Youth With A Mission in Colorado on staff. In 2005 she spent two months in China and Thailand after the big sunami hit, was in London, England and Bosnia as well for two months on missions. She also spent time in Juarez, Mexico summer of 2004 on missions. Lana moved back home in April of 2007 and was married to Stephen Snyders on June 7, 2008. The couple purchased a home in Alvord, IA and Lana is working as an insurance agent in her father's insurance office. Lana and Steve also help out part time with breeding and showing our sphynx!! Rebecca just turned 18, she is active in Teens Encounter Christ, her church youth group, works part time as a CNA, and she loves school  "on the A honor roll", playing saxophone, cheerleading, her pets and her friends.

My Hobbies and favorite past times: Women's Retreats & Youth Camps at Destiny Youth Ranch, riding my horses, and sitting in my recliner with 5 or more sphynx all snuggled up on me!!!!


Why do I have sphynx? I have always loved animals since I was a little girl. My sister and I would always sneak our dogs in the house when Mom wasn't around and take care of any stray kitten, bird, puppy or other small animal that we found. I have always had a pet in my home and they have brought so much joy to me and our family. I first came across sphynx when I was at the vet with my chihuahua. I saw a young lady bring in a basket with some bald little wrinkled babies in it. I immediately asked her what they were and how she came to own them. I fell in love with the breed on sight, did research about the breed, got in touch with the young lady to purchase one of my first sphynx. She has turned out to be one of my best queens, Quad Champion Jibsqueak's Jewel "now retired", and of course produced my gorgeous solid black Angelicsphynx Princess Anastasia!!!! I bought Jewel from Jennifer DeYoung of Jibsqueak Cattery and we continue to go to shows together and visit when we get the chance.

This breed of cats are charming, playful and are said to be part monkey, part puppy, part cat and part child. I would also say they are part parrot as they love to sit on your shoulder and snuggle. They like to lick and kiss you as they are also very affectionate cats. They are wonderful pets and are the best medicine I have found to de-stress and relax!!!!!!!Angelicsphynx is a family run cattery. We all are involved with caring for our  cats and kittens. We raise our kittens under foot in our home. They are a special part of our family. Our kittens have brought much joy, laughter and love into our home. We raise these beautiful hairless cats so you may also experience the joy of owning a sphynx or two!!!! The kittens are raised around children and other animals. We live on 10 acres in a small town of 200 people in Iowa. Our kittens are bred for superior health, quality and are socialized to have the best temperment possible. We have some very versatile and remarkable lines from Germany, Scotland, Belgium, Russia and the USA. Our cats are underfoot in our home.  I fell in love with sphynx the first time I laid eyes on them and I am sure you will also. I generally have been allergic to cats, but I have been wonderfully suprised as I have not had any problems with sphynx. No fur helps alot!!! Please be aware that some people may still have allergies to sphynx !!! It depends on the severity of your allergies to cats. If you do have allergies to cats, please visit us or another sphynx cattery before purchasing a kitten. We also are planning an outcross program in our cattery for the betterment of the sphynx breed. All of our sphynx queens and studs have been tested for FELV and FIV and tested negative.  All kittens are sold with a one year comprehensive health guarantee.
